Depop – Stealing their Style
Fast fashion’s relentless design stealing fuels massive oversupply, dumped in the Global South where it lives unseen by core consumers. Using a secondhand playbook, Depop will borrow the practice of “stealing” to expose fast fashion’s waste and champion secondhand as the first choice.
Ambient: Stealing Their Spaces

Fast fashion’s most attractive quality is affordability. We illustrate the true cost of the clothes beyond the provided price tag.

Digital: Stealing Their Site

With distractions set in stores, we turn heads digitally. We hijack fast fashion’s SEO, redirecting consumers to a bootleg digital store where product links divert to live streams of clothing landfills across the world and offer instant access to alternative listings on Depop.

Activation: Stealing Their Scrap

We buy unsold, unusable goods from Global South wholesalers, reintroducing waste to its origin via faux fast fashion stores in major fashion hubs. These pop-ups confront shoppers with the toll of fast fashion and give wasted outfits a second life.
